From boating to swimming to hiking, Lake Milton State Park offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities. You can also choose from a litany of activities put on by the Lake Milton Nature Arts Council, including fitness classes, a farmers market, car and boat shows, concerts, and more.
Other nearby state parks include West Branch in Ravenna, Ohio, Nelson-Kennedy Ledges in Garrettsville, Ohio, and Quail Hollow in Hartville, Ohio. Head to nearby Youngstown to take in a history lesson at the Arms Family Museum or the Butler Institute of American Art, or enjoy the outdoors at Mill Creek Park, which offers trails, lakes, formal gardens and a restored mill. You can also check out Kyle Woods in Mahoning County, which features an 80-acre beech-maple woodlot with unique woody species.
