First Time VONAPP Applicant
For first time users who are applying for benefits, complete your Veterans On-Line Application – VONAPP (VA Form 22-1990). Please make sure that you make the effective date on or before the start date that you have chosen with your Admission’s Representative.
Once you have completed this form, the VA will generate a Certificate of Eligibility, which is needed prior to you starting school. The timeframe for getting your Certificate of Eligibility may vary widely, therefore, you should fill out the application as soon as possible in the process to make sure you have the Certificate of Eligibility by your start date.
You can view your benefits at any time using the ebenefits system (See Manage Your Education Benefits Section). You may also be able to print out your Certificate of Eligibility on this webpage.
Recurrent VONAPP Applicant
For prospective students that have already filled out the Veteran On-Line Application (VONAPP) and may have used benefits in the past, you will need to fill out the VA form 22-1995 to change your benefits to TDDS Technical Institute. If you have gone to another school using your VA benefits you will need to get transcripts from that school(s).
